About this webinar:
The data deluge on the Internet of Things is making it challenging for existing cloud-based centralized IoT systems to draw actionable insights in near-real-time though it is critical for businesses to gain a competitive edge. This necessitates a more decentralized approach called ‘Edge Computing’ wherein instead of moving data to the cloud, computation is moved closer to the source of data. This talk will discuss in detail how moving computation closer to the source of data i.e. the edge nodes in the network can address different challenges associated with the cloud-based approach.

Pointwise Agenda on things that would be covered in the webinar:

1.Introduction – Definition, history and technology
2.IoT architectures
3.Key challenges in typical architectures
4.Edge Computing as a solution
5.Drivers and enablers for Edge Computing
6.Challenges in Edge Computing
